Originally founded in 1978 by three service technicians, Unity continues to define itself by its people and the support they provide. Throughout the evolving market changes from the past servicing of typewriters, analog photocopiers to the present servicing of digital copiers and everything in between Unity has strived to maintain the same core values it began with – to provide personalized service with respect and integrity.

Our job, simply put, is to help our customers put black or colour marks on paper. Our responsibility is to do so in a manner that recognizes the necessity of reliability, serviceability and affordability in supplying those marks at the most competitive total cost of ownership possible. To achieve these standards Unity has chosen specific products from world leading manufacturers Lexmark and Sharp Electronics that provide the best marriage between the customer, ourselves and the product; hence our name Unity.

Today with 22 employees, Unity continues to maintain the core values it began with. Our success is found in high customer satisfaction rates maintained by providing personalized sales and service, fast response times and local administration. Our customers include many of the largest companies on Vancouver Island, as well as some of the smallest. We aim to offer flexible administration by providing the best service possible and vow never to say “I'm sorry, our system won't allow that” because people are in charge of our business not our computers. We stake our reputation on our integrity, our expertise, our products and our superior customer service.

As the largest independent office equipment provider on Vancouver Island, Unity looks forward to future changes within the industry and continuing our quest to provide our customers with exactly what they are looking for- solutions.
